 Suggest Treatment For Urinary Incontinence

I am urinating about 35 times a day. No pain or discomfort. I have been to Urgent Care and they said my urine was clear. My urine was dehydrated so my Dr put me in the hospital. All the doctors thought it was diabetes incepidus. I had the 24 hour no drinking test and they did blood work and then told me I don t have it. I had a bacterial acne infection on my back 2 months ago and was prescribed minocyline. I took 200 mg the first month and then 100 mgs the second month. The doctors discharged me from the hospital saying that it was the minocycline making me urinate so often and that it would resove itself. i have been off of it for 2 weeks and no relief. I am up 5-6 times a night and don t know what to do or where to go. Do you have any suggestons for me? I have appt with a bladder doctor and kidney doctor tomorrow for a 2nd opinion. Can you please give me some suggestions?? I need help. Thank you, Julie

Hello
Thanks for query .

You have not mentioned your age and Gender in your query .Assuming you (from your name ) to be a female of more than 60 years of age .I would state that the frequency for urination without pain and discomfort and nocturia that you have could be mostly due to what is called Senile Urethral Stenosis .

It is a natural process of atrophy of genito urinary organs after the age of 55 ears (menopause) in females which also involves urethral passage causing what is called as Urethral stenosis.his leads to incomplete emptying of bladder during every act of micturition causing some amount of urine to remain in bladder what is termed as Post VOid Residual Urine (PVR).Urine formation is a continues process and there is constant pouring of urine from kidneys into bladder which gets filled up early and that leads to frequency for urination .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and assessment .He may do Endoscopic Calibration of urethra that will dilate and help to empty your bladder completely and to reduce frequency for urination .
